Abstract

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia in older adults. It represents a significant public health concern because of its associated personal, social, and economic burden. As such, AD is the focus of considerable research worldwide. This unit reviews the major cognitive and behavioral impairments associated with AD, and the practical application of current neuropsychological procedures used to assess these deficits. Curr.
