Have there been any successes yet with regrowing human teeth using non-embryonic stem cells? I know there were some remarkable results on rats but haven't heard of any advances with humans.

To date, there have been no studies that have regrown a tooth using human post-natal stem cells. Parts of a human tooth (dentin, pulp, periodontal ligament and cementum), but only parts. And one two big parts are missing: how to regenerate enamel, and how to regenerate a root.
